How it all got started...

3B Cattle® is a family-owned farm spanning more than 200 acres in South Bixby, Oklahoma. What began with a single horse has grown into something far greater—but the heart behind it all goes back to one very special person.

Our story began in honor of April’s late mother, Karen, who was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer known as MDS in November 2016. After a courageous battle, Karen passed away on December 9, 2017.

During her final days at MD Anderson, Karen spent time searching for horses online and often talked about wanting one to keep on the family farm. With Christmas only a couple of weeks away, it seemed only fitting that the family’s Christmas gift that year would be a horse in her honor.  As fate would have it, one horse became five… five became seven… then eleven—and before long, the dream had taken on a life of its own.  Let’s just say, Karen always did have a way of getting what she wanted. ♡

From there, a vision began to take shape. The family carefully researched and acquired quality animals and genetics from across the United States and around the world, building the farm and breeding program they had once only dreamed of.  Today, 3B Cattle® has grown into a diverse miniature livestock operation offering Miniature and Micro-Mini Cattle, AMHA and AMHR Registered Miniature Horses, Valais Blacknose Sheep, Miniature Donkeys, and Camels.  At the heart of our breeding program is a commitment to quality, temperament, and the characteristics that make these animals so special. We strive to produce animals with excellent conformation, eye-catching color, and friendly, charismatic personalities—animals that aren't simply beautiful to look at, but that families can enjoy, connect with, and love for years to come.

What started with one horse in Karen’s honor became a family dream, a growing farm, and ultimately, 3B Cattle®.  And we like to think she would be pretty proud of what that one horse started. ♡
